I’ve always been drawn to the connection between art, architecture, nature and how texture, light and form can completely transform the way we experience a space.
My path began in Poland, where I graduated with a Master’s degree in Fine Art from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. Later, after moving to Calgary, I continued my studies at Mount Royal University, earning a certificate in Interior Decorating. Those two worlds, fine art and design, naturally merged in my work.
Recently, my creative journey has shifted from working on architectural walls to creating sculptural, organic art pieces. These new works are rich in layered textures and depth, often monochromatic, and inspired by aerial views or the intricate details found in natural formations.
A significant part of my current practice involves using irregularly shaped wood canvases. I’m fascinated by how breaking away from traditional rectangular formats changes the entire language of a piece. The edges themselves become part of the composition like natural geological boundaries, fragments of land masses, or shifting tectonic plates.
These shapes invite the viewer to experience the artwork more physically, almost as if each piece has been carved out of the earth rather than painted on a flat surface. It adds an element of surprise, tension, and freedom a reminder that creativity doesn’t have to fit neatly inside a frame.
Every piece I create feels like a new landscape, something that invites you to slow down, look closer, and feel the transformation within it.
My custom art pieces can be integrated into private homes, offices, and commercial interiors.
Every project begins with a conversation so I can understand your space and the feeling you want the artwork to bring. Whether you have a clear vision or only a general idea, I’m here to guide you and make the process easy.
Because my work is created on irregularly shaped wood canvases, we start by discussing shape, size, texture, and mood. I share examples and ideas to help you visualize the direction.
Once we choose the concept, I create simple sketches and design outlines to show the general form and flow of the piece. After that, I prepare digital mock-ups so you can see how the piece will look in your space before I begin.
My goal is always to create a piece that feels personal, harmonious, and meaningful, something that truly belongs in your space.
